Welcome back to returning students & Welcome new students!!!
We are looking forward to another exciting year!
If you have any questions or concerns during the year please feel free to call Carolyn or staff at 833-5418 at the studio- it is often hard to catch us between classes!!! All new information or changes will be posted on our website at www.shuswapdance.com. Thank you to everyone for your patience as we relocate waiting for the studio renovations. Things are finally rolling along at the studio – we will definitely be in by January – perhaps sooner!!!!!
STORE/OFFICE HOURS: Dancewear Plus is now open in the Piccadilly Mall. Our office is located there as well for your convenience.
BALLET EXAMS: Students (Primary Ballet & up) will have the opportunity this year to participate in Ballet Examinations. We will have an examiner come to Salmon Arm in March or April to examine. This is a fun learning experience for the children and gives us a goal to strive towards. Further information will be coming to Ballet students in January (Extra classes are required).
OBSERVATION DAYS: We encourage parents not to stay & watch classes, as it tends to distract the students (Special exceptions are always made). We will be performing a Christmas show this year tentatively set for Sunday, Dec 13 – Dress rehearsal in the morning and the show in the afternoon at the SASCU Community Center. We will be having the following observation days during regular class time:
Week of – Monday,October 26 – Friday,October 30

DANCE CLASS SCHEDULE:
No Classes The Following Days:
Thanksgiving Weekend – Monday, Oct 12th
Regular Classes on Wednesday, November 11th
Last week of classes Monday, December 7th – Friday, December 11th
Classes resume after Christmas Break Monday, January 4th, 2010
There are classes on all PRO-D Days unless informed otherwise.
YEAR END SHOW –SASCU RECREATION CENTRE
Friday, May 14th _ Dress Rehearsal / Saturday, May 15th – Performances
Information will be coming re:costuming, etc. at the end of February.
