Welcome to Shuswap Dance Center. We are very proud of our school and its dedicated professional faculty. Our emphasis is on professionalism in the classroom in order to offer the student the highest level of technical training while nurturing the creative element. We hope to offer a broad spectrum of dance styles – something for everyone. We welcome you to share with us your love of dance, and we promise to provide you with the very best in training.

CURRICULUM
The curriculum of the Shuswap Dance Center reflects that of all of the major ballet schools of the world. The school's focus is the training of classical ballet and contemporary/jazz performance skills. Our weekly schedule includes many different levels of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Highland and Break-Dance dance training beginning with Creative Dance & Pre-Ballet for 4 and 5-year-olds.
ISTD Ballet, and Modern (Jazz) Exams Offered.

PERFORMING OPPORTUNITIES
Each year students participate in two productions.

In December we put on a eclectic Christmas production.

Each May all students participate in the Annual School Performance -- a full-scale production created by Carolyn Wonacott and staff for The Shuswap Dance Center.

TEEN/ADULT DIVISION
For teenagers and adults not pursuing a professional dance career, who nonetheless desire to begin or continue dance training.
